the labels, for the most part, speak for themselves - Somalia, Sudan, Kenya, etc. - these, i'm sure are clear, so onto the others that might need some words:

it's been heard: things i've heard, seen and read along the way that put a smile on my face.
short bits: short, sometimes humorous, updates that i've sent or posted to friends over the years.
this life: things i've learned along the way, nothing life changing, mostly weird, rather funny, and somewhat pointless, but lessons learned anyway.
