it's a bit of a hodgepodge of pictures, random thoughts, deeper thoughts, and things i've heard, learned and seen along the way that put a smile on my face. the timeline is a bit off - it goes back and forth based on my rather spotty memory, motivation and the internet speed, so apologies for that.
the name of the blog, 'sweet tea & small talk' is a representation of the 3 countries that have thus far dominated my adult life - Sudan, Somalia & Kenya - sweet sweet (double emphasis and bolding totally necessary) tea being a common feature in all and maporojo (the web address) the Swahili word for 'small talk'.
